Just to correct you there. I just bought a ls 1.2 and they aren't leaf springs they are coil springs.

Talking

My Spark doesn't have a transfer box or a 40 litre fuel tank and only a 1208cc engine.
Did my dealer short change me?

Some of those figures are wrong. Unsure where they came from but they arent all accurate. Your car should only have a 1.2 not 1.3 as stated. In the UK dealership spark buyers manual that i have in front of me the engine is a
1206cc 4cylinder
16 valve with 81bhp.
Front suspension Macpherson strut and rear is torsion beam.

The 1.2 isnt anything special. Ours is still incredibly gutless. Im hoping once its run in properly that it gets better. Its only done 1,700 miles so far.

It does get better, mine has 5k now and is loosening up nicely. Find that if I fill up at Shell every 3rd tank runs better. Run tyres on eco pressure and use the revs, 50-52mpg average.

Hi All. Here in the Philippines we have the 1.2 and 1.0LS for Chevy Spark. Full tank for my 1.0LS Chevy Spark is around 30-32L. Stock wheels are R14/70/135. Fuel consumption for long drive is 18-19km/l and city drive is around 10-14km/l.
